| The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Human Resources Benefits Analyst to serve as an integral part of the Human Resources Management (HRM) Benefits team responsible for administering benefits for the California State University's (CSU) 23 campuses and the Office of the Chancellor. The incumbent performs a variety of professional, technical, and administrative duties that support the following CSU benefit and retirement plans: medical (administered by CalPERS), dental, vision, long-term disability, group life, leaves of absence, voluntary benefits (flexible spending accounts, life, disability, employee assistance, critical illness, home/auto, pre-tax parking, tuition fee waiver) and retiree plans (pension (administered by CalPERS) and supplemental savings). The incumbent assists campus benefit representatives with benefit inquiries including but not limited to plan design, best practice, business/technical processes, eligibility, coverage, enrollment, and benefit information systems. The incumbent also assists in responding to retiree benefit inquiries regarding plan design, coverage, enrollment, and access. The incumbent would also assist campus leave representatives with leaves related inquiries regarding all leave programs including but not limited to compliance training with state and federal laws and regulations, current collective bargaining agreements, best practice and business/technical processes. |

| Under general supervision, electricians perform the full range of journey-level skilled electrical and related work, including installation, maintenance, modification and repair of electrical apparatuses, equipment and systems. Incumbent installs and maintains typical and specialized electrical systems, and provides electrical support for related trades, such as HVAC and telecommunications. Work includes both new installations and repairs/retrofitting. Responsibilities include support services for campus events, such as setup and removal of temporary power. Incumbent performs routine operational duties such as tracking work orders, preparing cost estimates, maintaining inventory, monitoring and inspecting the work of contractors, preparing reports and ordering supplies. Electricians are required to be on standby for emergency repairs, as scheduled.

| Graduation Advising and Transfer Credit Specialists (GATCS) provide comprehensive, developmental advising to students approaching graduation, transfer students, and students returning after an absence. Services are offered through drop-in advising, referrals, scheduled appointments, workshops, seminars, and pop-up graduation events.
In support of the University’s commitment to student success, retention, and timely graduation—as well as University and Chancellor’s Initiatives—GATCS perform complex professional student services work under the general direction of the Assistant Registrar for Graduation and Articulation. Incumbents exercise independent judgment to research, analyze, and resolve complex graduation and transfer credit issues.
GATCS apply extensive knowledge of state, system, and campus policies, procedures, and regulations to evaluate and adjust student records, ensuring accurate application of academic credit toward degree completion. Through effective communication, resourcefulness, and direct student engagement, GATCS help students understand requirements, plan academic pathways, and develop strategies for successful degree completion from analysis through implementation.
Additionally, GATCS serve as a collaborative resource to the campus community, providing expertise on academic credit, institutional policies, and degree conferral.
