The incumbent is responsible for the protection of life and property and the enforcement of all pertinent laws within the jurisdiction of the University Police Department, California State University, San Bernardino. The incumbent will also be responsible for special event planning, management and supervision of the K9 unit, motorcycle unit, liaison to allied law enforcement agencies, firearms training, police fleet management, management of university and police public safety cameras, body-worn camera and naloxone programs, and other duties as assigned. |

Additionally, the Health Educator regularly conducts workshops and outreach events promoting campus resources, as well as implements wellbeing messaging through social marketing approaches. The Health Educator inform wellbeing issues pertinent to a university setting including but not limited to Basic Needs - food & housing security, Alcohol, Tobacco, & Other Drugs (ATOD), Cold/Flu, Nutrition/Fitness, Self-Care, Sexual Health, and Violence Prevention.
