Classification Salary Range: $4,799 - $6,992 per month
The maximum for this position is $5,299.
The final salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Position Summary:
Under general supervision of the Associate Dean for the College of Health, Human Services and Nursing, the incumbent provides administrative, technical and analytical duties of moderate complexity that are essential to the operation of the college. These duties shall include, but are not limited to, scheduling, providing guidance on all program and course modifications, maintaining department budget planning sheets, and analyzing, evaluating and maintaining college office allocation lists. The incumbent will work closely with the Associate Dean, Department Chairs, the Senior Analyst for Academic Scheduling and Facilities, and administrative staff to ensure a schedule that is complete and accurate for the appropriate courses offered, number of sections, room assignments and faculty assignments within the timeline of each term, while keeping current on all PeopleSoft upgrades for the Student Module. The incumbent will also serve as a member of the Academic Affairs Facilities and Space Committee as well as the Council of Schedulers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, analyze, and evaluate course scheduling for college.
- Train college staff on scheduling guidelines to input and maintain schedule.
- Monitor, track and provide guidance on all program and course modifications.
- Help prepare and maintain department budget planning sheets.
- Analyze, evaluate and maintain college office allocation list and Exclusive labs for accurate reflection of the college space utilization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs, equivalent to two years.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit, and/or administrative specialty.
- Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques.
- Ability to organize and plan work and projects including handling multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside the work group and serve as a liaison for the organizational unit.
Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Public Administration, Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.

Preferred Experience: Two or more years of working experience in CSU system with demonstrated proficiency in Excel, data management, PeopleSoft, and strong customer service background.
