Senior Coordinator of Student Academic Success Services Channel Islands
Under the general direction of the Dean of the Library & Learning Resources the Senior Coordinator of Student Academic Success Services develops and coordinates the recruitment, training and assessment for the Learning Resource Center (LRC), which is part of the Library & Learning Resources unit. This position is responsible for leading, directing, and providing high-level oversight of campus-wide learning support programs and interventions for all university students. In this capacity the position strategically aligns academic support services with institutional priorities, assists in the supervising of Learning Resource Center (LRC) Administrative Support staff, and Instructional Student Assistants, leads and directs daily operations of the LRC, working closely with administrators, academic departments, individual faculty and the community to identify and meet the changing needs of students utilizing academic support programs and services delivered through the LRC. The Senior Coordinator of Student Academic Success Services engages in activities that regularly impact other student services areas where the scope of assignments is complex, budget-focused, and resource-dependent.
